My approach is relaxed and natural. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it and let things happen naturally when you don’t. I want you to feel comfortable, enjoy the experience and forget about the camera being there. I’m drawn to the real stuff. The quiet moments, the big laughs, the little details, the energy of a room and all the perfectly imperfect moments in between.

Visually, my work is clean, natural and considered. I love beautiful light, genuine connection and a little bit of creativity. Depending on the moment, that might mean something playful, nostalgic, elegant or a little more editorial.

I photograph weddings, families, newborns, events and brands. While each is different, people are always at the heart of what I do. I’ve worked across fashion, lifestyle, product, brand and street style photography, and spent a year photographing nightlife in London. I have 15+ years in graphic design (BCGD-hons), which still influences how I see a photograph. Composition, colour, styling, storytelling and how an image works as part of a bigger picture all matter to me.

I’m also a dad of two, which explains my love for photographing families. I know how quickly kids grow and how the everyday moments you barely notice at the time can become the ones you treasure most.

My mum passed away when I was very young, and having photographs of her has made me appreciate just how much a photograph can mean years down the track. It doesn’t have to be a perfect portrait. Sometimes it’s the ordinary photographs that become the most precious.

That’s something I try to bring to every session. Photographs that look beautiful, but also take you straight back to how it felt.
